Hole Description
A dogleg right that plays longer than the scorecard yardage, due to driving into the prevailing wind with a large bunker at the corner of the dogleg that is difficult to carry. There is water from tee to green on the right and out-of-bounds wetlands from tee to green on the left. Unless you can clear the bunker at the dogleg, a longer than usual approach shot has to negotiate bunkers protecting the left side of the green, which slopes toward water on the right.

Hole Description
A dogleg left with a bunker at the corner, water on the right and both an aiming bunker and water at the top of the dogleg. Drives attempting to cut the dogleg over the bunker risk both a waste area and out-of-bounds to the left. The second shot into the green is into the prevailing wind, sending many shots into the large front bunker.

On the left there is a treed coquina waste area running from tee to green. There is water on the right, and bunkers at the top of the dogleg that often come into play. A wayward second shot can reach water on the right, and the front-and back-sloping green is well guarded with front bunkers.

Hole Description
A slight dogleg left with a large, treed coquina waste area on the left, a fairway bunker on the right, and water on the right running from the tee until you are a short wedge from the green. This hole provides the first exposure to the greater undulations in the back nine's greens, which create greater possibilities for three-putts if your approach comes to rest in the wrong area of the green for that day's pin placement.

Hole Description
This begins the three hole sequence known as Alligator Alley. It is a short dogleg left over wetlands where many golfers use something other than a driver. There is water and a coquina waste area on the left, and easily reachable bunkers, mounds and a treed coquina waste area at the top of the dogleg. The left half of the green provides difficult shot choices over water, as well as exciting chips and putts from behind the green back toward the water. It is a dramatic hole.

Hole Description
Boasts the most difficult par 3 green to hold with your tee shot. The green is elevated, slopes left to right with a bunker guarding the right side, and rejects many shots that land on the green. Shots missing the green create difficult second shots from almost any angle. There is a large, treed coquina area to the left and behind the green that receives a surprising number of tee shots.

Hole Description
Ending Alligator Alley, is a dogleg right that is immediately intimidating. There is water on the right from tee to green. A large oak tree, mounds and a bunker on the left result in a surprising tight landing area for your drive. The second shot often requires a relatively long approach over water in front and to the right of the green, with a bunker protecting the left side of the green and the bailout area. Second shot layups are common, and the hole is considered to be the most difficult for the average golfer.

- Medal: 478

Hole Description
A slight dogleg right and the most reachable par 5, with bunkers at both the top and corner of the dogleg. Fourteen is the first of four consecutive holes with a ridge running from front to back through the middle of the green, making it important to reach the green on the correct side of the ridge to avoid a likely three-putt result. A left pin placement creates a challenging shot with bunkers in front and out-of-bounds behind and to the left of the green.

- Medal: 464

Hole Description
A range of choices for each shot. From the tee there is water in front, with out-of-bounds and a bunker on the left. Mounds, a bunker and a treed coquina area are on the right. A pond at the left front of the green influences many second and third shots, and bunkers front and back are major hazards if there is a left pin placement. A bottom right pin placement is an opportunity for an eagle - if the pond can be avoided.
Hole #16
- Par 4
- Men's Handicap: 12
- Ladies' Handicap: 14
- Champion: 358
- Medal: 348
- Middle: 336
- Standard: 312

Hole Description
From the tee gives the impression of being relatively easy. But there is tight out-of-bounds and a fairway bunker on the left, along with mounding and a fairway bunker on the right. The green is shallow, sloped, and exceptionally well-guarded with bunkers front, back and to the right. It can be difficult to hold the green with your approach shot. As a result, the bailout area to the right is often used as a safe and sensible option.
Hole #17
- Par 3
- Men's Handicap: 18
- Ladies' Handicap: 18
- Champion: 152
- Medal: 135
- Middle: 128
- Standard: 115
- Forward: 105
Hole Description
The shortest par 3, with great variety due to a wide and deep tee and a green that has ridges running both perpendicular and parallel to the tee shot, providing the effect of four greens in one. Trees close to the tee create the false illusion of little wind, causing bunkers left, front center and behind to attract many wind-challenged shots.
Hole #18
- Par 4
- Men's Handicap: 8
- Ladies' Handicap: 4
- Champion: 360
- Medal: 340
- Middle: 332
- Standard: 317
- Forward: 305
Hole Description
A dogleg left that presents an intimidating tee shot, with large, treed coquina waste areas both left and right and water at the top of the dogleg. The approach shot requires a carry over both water and a steep front slope that puts many balls back into the water. The green is deep, wide and contoured, with a front left bunker receiving many shots aimed down the narrow fairway to the left of the water.
